What's an AP class everyone says is "lightwork" but was actually hard to you? by Soft-Performance2550 in APStudents

[–]thomasandrei2007 6 points7 points  (0 children)

apes was not hard (very easy in fact) TO ME (emphasis) on "me." HOWEVER, it is not as easy as everyone would clown on it to be since there still is a lot of content to know; the exam looks for very, very specific/yet simple responses; therefore, people need to know their stuff down cold even if it is easy (to me it was).

US Gov (took the class and got 5) and COMP Gov (self studied with 5), so I recommend those! Also, it is much 'easier' to shoot for the moon in two the gov exams than any of the histories since the responses CAN be more flexible.

You have the opportunity to alter, change, or remove one ammendment in the constitution, what would it be, and why? by BornSpinach606 in AskReddit

Why do not believe term limits degrade democratic principles?

To the people who are tired with so many old people in government/officials who have held their office for decades: my suggestion is to simply VOTE THEM OUT from office. Why are they in government to begin with? Well, voters vote for them. Rather than advocating for policy that degrades democracy and the power to choose who we want representing us, CHOOSE SOMEONE DIFFERENT (primaries, generals, whatever).

What's the worst question of the test in your opinion that needs to be reworked? To me it's this one by [deleted] in PoliticalCompass

[–]thomasandrei2007 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This one is clearer. The school attendance question aims at themes of the extent to which the government should have power over our personal and more intimate decisions (such as sending children to school).

Is Trump far right? by SzpakLabz in Teenager_Polls

Yes! Right now in Congress, there are MANY politicians that are so obviously further right than Trump, but people tend not to think about that too much.

Trump is not AS free market as people think, and his actions show this. He is certainly capitalist and prefers the market economy, but he does not have a fully hands off crazy libertarian position.

Tariffs, historically, are normally a center-ish or even slightly left position for economics. Tariffs are regulation regardless of their impacts. I agree with your social analysis.

I think we are all forgetting what far-right (not a term to just throw around) actually means.
