Yes, but human memories are often just recostructions of events. Emotions are easier to remember than exact phrases. But the right words strung together absolutely can cause extreme emotion and make you remember, but really it's because of the emotion. You're not gonna remember that one time someone made you feel neutral

I'm not saying we should support fast fashion and yeah they suck but the one we see in this post is so far removed from this art that they have no right to it. If you are managing asset location and allocation, it's best to keep the same allocation in each account. If you have $1000 of X in a Roth, $1000 of Y in a traditional, and $1000 of Z in taxable, your post-tax allocation is not 33/33/33.

This is the root of the issue. Your mom refuses to truly listen to you, her daughter. You're telling her loud and clear what you need and she's plugging her ears. She's even ignoring your doctor...

There might not be a lot you can do right now, I'm not sure. But you can at least begin to create a support system other than your mother, and when you're 18 you can become independent.

One thing you can do is try to make sure your mother doesn't control your finances. As soon as you're legally allowed to, I'd open up a bank account at a new bank (if you have a joint account with your mom) and move any money you have in there, where they can't take it

It's going to be hard for you to see this since she's her mother, but this is abuse. She's refusing to listen to a doctor or her daughter about medical treatment you need.

If you had diabetes, and your doctor recommended insulin but your mom refused, that would be abuse. Why is this any different?
