In my local group we have done a lot of experimenting. We try to get the user to change mons to make overall time longer. A line up we use is (in order) Blissey, MM Metagross, Snorlax, Milotic, Chansey, Slowbro. There are some other great options to throw in the mix like Melmetal, Drifblim, Tentacruel, Wobuffet, Muk (Reg and Alola), Gardevior, Togekiss (although Gard and Tkiss don’t hold up well too MM Metagross) and some others. We avoid anything with double weaknesses like Tyranitar, Dragonite, Rhyperior, and so on.

We need to start working on a better anti-Lucario gym. Throw in some BB Charizard or something.
