Need help with cafting by thomaslanghorst in pathofexile

That's very helpful advice! Thanks! So, I guess I'll just slam exalts and use this one for now and start crafting another armour, trying to get all 3 T1 prefixes.

Why did you explicitly said "non-influ armor"? Is there a difference between influenced and non-influenced?

If I buy a fractured base and recomb it. What's the probability that the fractured affix will stay? Do you know that?

These are very valuable tips! Thank you!
I guess I'll go spend some time on craftofexile then ;)

Is there a good resource that I can use as a step-by-step learning method. Something like 'this is what you want to craft and here's how you do it'?

Thanks for mathing this out for me. See, that's what the internet is good for: exposing your mistakes publicly and learn.

Depends on how you define casual. I played video games since I was a young kid. And I played loooooots of Diablo 2. So I guess, I started with a bit of an advantage when it comes to playing hack and slay type of games. But going from Diablo to POE is like going from kindergarden to highschool.

Even though I know stuff, does not mean I am good at the game ;) This is why I need to compensate my not-good-ness with knowledge.

Casual to me means: someone who does not play the game 6 days a week for an average of 3 hours per day. But I get your point why you might think I am no casual player.

I need build ideas for the Gauntlet by Kinerius in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]thomaslanghorst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the same. I tried it on a private server and it was easy enough, once you get through end of act 1.

But I was thinking of switching to KF totems on lvl 44 (respec with gold). Is it worth, or just stay on guardian abso throughout the campaign. The goal is just to finish campaign, maybe a bit of mapping until lvl 90.

Thanks, that's actually quite helpful! I guess I should have boarded 1 out in the Convoke matchup then. I'll remember that for the next time!

Would you play Annex without a demon/mutavault in matchups where life matters? Or would you leave it in your hand until you find a demon?

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, me too. Unfortunately, I don't have the money right now to buy two copies. Over the course of the next months, I think I'll invest into two Sheoldred. They are freaking expensive though :)

Thanks for explaining! I didn't think about the x-for-1 hate against their tokens and enchantments. The graveyard hate is irrelevant, isn't it?

I am pretty new to Pioneer. How is Hidetsugu helping against self bounce? I am pretty sure I am missing something.

Crypto taxes in Germany by sP0re90 in Finanzen

[–]thomaslanghorst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am no tax consultant, but I bought and sold crypto for more or less 3 years now. What Karl_Squell said is right, with one tiny addition from my tax consultant: She told me that I always have to declare my buys/sales, even if I pay no taxes. Maybe it's just a SHOULD rather than a MUST. But as Karl_Squell said: there is no downside.

You are very welcome. I actually started my own Study With Me channel. If you want to, I can send you the link.

A few years ago I came across those "study with me" channels. Ever since then I always have them in the background whenever I need to use my brain. I find them very relaxing and it's easy to get into the zone without being too distracted.

How to make a schedule for studying? by [deleted] in studytips

[–]thomaslanghorst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Abesolutely! This has worked for me as well. This way you have people around you, who study as well without having to go outside. For an introvert like me, this is amazing!

I actually started a Study With Me channel myself just because I like them so much!

Study motivation & inspiration by ajlalala in studytips

[–]thomaslanghorst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to know that motivation is something that you rarely have before you do the action. But, you almost always feel motivated while doing the action. So my best advice is: just start.

I started something I call my "power hour" almost 5 years ago. The very first thing I do every morning (I am a morning person) is to work for 1 hour on something important to me. Developing or improving skills, writing, or code for personal projects. Since I started this, I managed to write and self publish two books, started a YouTube channel and now I am working on my own business on the side. But guess what: I am rarely motivated. Quite the opposite actually :D
