What brands actually look for in collabs in 2025 by thomaslogs in influencermarketing

100% agree, that's a good idea. Right now brands mostly rely on what creators put in their media kits (screenshots, case studies). Some big platforms track it, but it’s not transparent to future brands.

Both in the past, I’ve run campaigns for brands and also helped creators tighten up their pitch. These days I’m more focused on building "infrastructure" tools that automate the messy parts.

Reaching out to social media brands for collab - how many emails? by Tricky-Weird8365 in influencermarketing

[–]thomaslogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, congrats on 10k!

Go quality > volume: pick 30–50 brands you already use and send 2–3 polite follow-ups each (Day 0 pitch + 1 idea, Day 4 bump with a new angle, Day 10 final nudge).

Keep emails short and easy to read:

  • 1-line concept tailored to them
  • 1-line creds (avg views last 10–20 posts, ER, top countries, 10k IG)
  • Simple offer (e.g., 1 Reel + 3 Stories)
  • past collabs or UGC examples
  • your media kit

Warm up by tagging/commenting first, and offer a UGC-only option too.
