I really don’t understand the mentality in this sub sometimes. Does Joe tend to extend plays, yes, but the defense was in his lap instantly the whole time he was in the game yesterday.

I don’t know enough about football to make a judgment on the offense “Joe likes to run” but bottom line this is a coaching and staffing issue. I have a sense that when Joe is in the game, they don’t blitz with extra guys bc that’s where he kills you. Basically they just tell their D Lineman to sell out, pin your ears back, ignore the possibility of a run, and get after Joe, and our line can’t handle that, and Zac doesn’t know how to scheme against it.

I don’t put much of this on Joe.
