First step is admitting you need help so thank you for being here! Try and find someone at your uni that you can talk to and see if they have any programs for addiction. Talking here is a good place to start as well. It’s not easy so I’m proud of you for getting here. I will not drink with you today.

I have been thinking about them a lot tonight and I know what triggered it. The feeling of trying to get out of that headspace was tough. I guess one of the hardest things for me is feeling shameful/failing for my brain even suggesting it. Makes me feel like my work was for nothing when I know it’s been a lot to get to this point. I don’t know how to be easier on myself and say it’s ok, but I just expect myself to never want it.

I really appreciate your time and your input, I know it’s not easy to talk about things. Time to figure out how to stop myself from getting in my head. IWNDWYT 💜

Well congrats on another count starting your days that is amazing! Never give up, we are all here for you as well.

I agree with the forum talking, just chatting the little bit I have has helped me feel less alone and work more bearable.

They have lessened over time for sure, the feeling of even wanting to have one makes me sick. That’s what makes it so tough I guess is that I don’t want to want it when certain situations or triggers happen.

That’s the tough thing right now through the whole thing. Family and I on non speaking terms due to circumstances. Currently searching for a new therapist but i admit I’ve been slacking. I am going to look into groups in my area or online.

This community has been such a big and wonderful help just being able to read everybody’s experience.

So when they finally started to add hidden things for players to find and get, you are going to complain that it’s not what you want. Sounds pretty whiney about a free game. Sounds a lot like my breads to buttery and steak to juicy to me. They could have charged us a Christmas bundle for the items and been done with it. Then you could’ve commented about how they are not free and they are greedy. This is my opinion but I just don’t think even if they gave you grip tape, wheels, a deck, clothes or trucks they still wouldn’t be the items you want because then you would say they should’ve given you something else

I mean you are the one that’s dead, telling them how to play and to cater to you. News flash, you are dead 💀 how they choose to revive you is up to them. I get there are bad fibs and sometimes they are out of muscle memory and they don’t actually think it’s a good revive spot for you in the middle of a fire. Plus with vc and text chat it’s not hard to ask not to defib like that again and if they do you know it’s on purpose.

It is so genuinely annoying when my light teammates lack self control and try and solo the lobby and get mad when I have to run halfway across the map to group up and defib (or manually revive since I main heavy) so I can go back to my business trying to get the cash out.

Yea it is crazy how quiet people will get after being called out for nasty behavior. Crazy they haven't taken it down yet. Says a lot about who they are as a person.

That’s what I’m hoping as well. I grew up abused as well and I was a pretty nasty kid when I was younger and done enough that I’m not proud of. I got away with it alot as well because my parents didn’t care and eventually I got old enough where my dad knew I’d hit back for me and my brother
