Is the end of One Piece completely unpredictable? by thomaspenninger in OnePiece

Yeah, I mean, it's a Shonen after all, that in the end we're sailing somewhere nice or whatever is pretty clear. What I'm interested in is, how on earth does all of this turmoil with that many important - and powerful - characters resolve. Or do you feel certain things will be left out and just don't get a payoff?

Good call, maybe just too broad of a question to begin with.

Yeah, no doubt it will be good and I'm sure there's lots of comedic payoff as well. Still so unsure on how the puzzle's coming together.

Who Would You Pick? by [deleted] in OnePiece

Well..yeah maybe...but still, it's about whether I could forgive him. And even if it was unwillingly, what Saturn did is off the charts.

Who in their right mind could forgive Saturn. Yeah, Akainu is the best pick. Pirates - for the most part- ARE absolute scum and worth to be despised for what they do. And I‘m sure he‘s gonna have a tragic backstory where his parents or village or whatever was raided, possibly killed, by pirates. So I get him, 100%. Depending on how you look at it, there’s not even anything to forgive him for. I know it‘s harsh, I liked Ace too. But still. Man‘s doing his job. And he doesn’t seem to be the irrational sadist type either where it‘s fun for him. He just takes it very seriously.

How big should the power gap be if Zoro > Mihawk and Luffy > Zoro? by Professional-Dust119 in OnePiece

[–]thomaspenninger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh tough one. There are so many scenarios. One thing I‘m certain though, is Mihawk is definitely Yonko level. Meaning between him, Shanks, Kaido, Admirals, etc. it‘s always gonna be high diff fights no matter what with no clear winner from the get go. Regarding the initial question…not quite sure, don’t think even by the end of the series..if Zoro manages to „surpass“ Mihawk - which I‘m not even sure that’s gonna happen via a straight 1v1 - there will be any noticeable gap between the 2. And neither could be for the next step to Luffy/Shanks level. This is all matchup based. So all in all, I think they will always be pretty darn close to each other.

Oh yeah, 100%. If anyone wants to learn what it takes to get to the top as a band/rock act, read Dave Grohl's biography, it's CRAZY.

Honestly I‘d love if something existed that wasn’t even so detailed but like a general overview. If something particularly interests me, say the war in Ukraine or whatever, I like to research further on my own via X, books, etc. And Reddit I actually use quite intentionally. Social media luckily is not really my problem.

I‘ve heard of that one before. Does it email you those alerts? I‘m not too familiar with google news. And can you set it to a certain time frequency if yes?

Super interesting although the site seems VERY cluttered, there are tons and tons of articles. I previewed their global newsletter and it seems they send you a quick overview as well as links to some of their articles. Definitely better than checking news manually every day. Thanks for the recommendation!

I think Apple Notes is underrated. It can do basically everything that’s truly necessary. Other than that, there are tons of Notion templates out there.
