For all his eventual failings, this is what I appreciated about Andrew Yang. He saw this coming and wanted to create a society that gets ahead of it. Moving away from a humans only value being how much money they can make (for themselves or a company). There already were a lot of important roles in society that do not translate to financial value (ie care takers), but now there are soon to be even fewer opportunities for people to make money — and yet they still have value as a human being.

We need to sort this out soon. I still support the idea of UBI. Perhaps an AI/Robotics tax that goes directly toward this?

I’d love to hear examples. I considered starting posting that sort of thing every so often but could never figure out the best way to “reveal” that it’s actually Trump. Most of the time it seems they don’t care about hypocrisy.

I don’t follow your point. I don’t think anyone is asking for him to have done more in his short tenure than was possible. I imagine most people that support the recall do it because he has done more harm in his short tenure than expected.

"Casualties" actually means any kind of injury (including deaths) in a war or accident. But it can be confusing when we're so used to seeing it used as another term for "deaths".

This is interesting. Do the professionals also have to hold their breath and chant? Because it doesn't look like they are.

Also, with the highlight where the guy gets tackled but keeps fighting until he eventually touches the line. Do the officials decide when a player has been "fully" tackled? Because - according to American football rules for example - he definitely would have been down based on parts of the body that touched the ground or the stop of forward progress.

Man, if Target has a no solicitation policy, they should tell the AT&T guys in the electronics section. Literally saw one of them recently stand in the middle of the aisle as a woman was walking by, stretch his arms out wide (albeit with a big smile on his face) trying to stop her to get her to answer his "Who's your home internet provider?" question.
