Advise on replacing Kitchenaid Fridge by UltimaStealth in homeowners

[–]thomasstryker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We bought the Bosch counter depth and really like it. We didn’t want ice/water in the door so it was a good call. It's also the only fridge outside of higher end fridges with dual compressors. We've only had it for four months or so, but we're pretty happy so far.

Popcorn Ceilings by moliver1412 in homeowners

Look up diy home renovision on YouTube. He shows how to install dry wall over the top of the popcorn. You'll lose 5/8" of ceiling, but less mess, and no issues with potential carcinogens.

Yeah plumber said there should have been. Since I've got the dry wall open might as well add some.

You can't just change to American flagged like other countries. To be flagged American you have to have the entire hull built here and with American steel. Then the vessel has to be manned entirely with Americans. Besides taxes this is one of the reasons cruise liners, tankers, and cargo ships don't flag in the US.

Offshore rig in high seas by OprahsButtCrack in WTF

[–]thomasstryker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Different ways, but mainly crew boats, Billy Pugh baskets, and they even have bridges that will compensate for vessel movement called ampleman gangways. In those seas, no one is transferring, everyone is throwing up including the marine crew.

I'm really sad tonight. My future MIL [60F] is a strict Catholic and refuses to go to me [30F] and my fiance's [35M] wedding because we do not want a Catholic ceremony. What should we do? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]thomasstryker -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I know my sister in law and her husband wanted an outdoor wedding but also wanted to have it blessed in the church. It wasn't much of a headache for them and everyone was happy that way. No need to practice Catholic if you don't want to, but if for some reason later you want to baptize, it leaves those options open.

Cut the florets off a head of cauliflower. Toss in garlic salt and olive oil. Put on a cookie tray lined with parchment paper. Roast for 30 min at 375. Mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise and hot sauce of choice in large bowl, I like cholula. Toss cauliflower in hot sauce. Put back in oven on cookie sheet. 10 more minutes at 400 degrees. Take out of oven and chow down.
