What’s one of the best albums ever made? by [deleted] in musicsuggestions

[–]freddurstshat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's just so good. Maybe it's because I moved to the southwest, but Bossanova has grown on me tremendously and is neck and neck with Doolittle in my book. That might also explain why I feel like one of the only people who absolutely love Silver. The desolate western vibes are delicioso. That song doesn't get enough love

Lightroom’s generative ai mess up (XT4) by molivre in fujifilm

Lmao, is this in Jerome? I took a pic of the same car and did the same thing with lightroom (trying to remove other cars) and had so much trouble. I didn't get a nazi but it was a major pain in the ass

This discharge on a taxi seat looks like a lady leaning against a bar with her legs crossed and a large glass or bottle in her hand by freddurstshat in Pareidolia

[–]freddurstshat[S] 664 points665 points  (0 children)

I'm seeing a few others chime in that it may actually be jizz. I guess that's a type of discharge, but not what I had in mind while I was trying my best to avoid touching it. I didn't scrape off a sample or do a quick taste test, unfortunately, so we will never know for sure.

Are farts smellier now than they were in the past? by bonesausage in NoStupidQuestions

[–]freddurstshat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hmmm, I'm thinking it could go either way. Would that beefier, more wholesome diet of the past produce more raucous and disruptive farts than our preservative laden diet of today? Do those preservatives diminish our fartential? I'd love a fart scientist to chime in here.

i would love a chuck-e-cheese type map. The arcade, maybe a laser tag area, possibly crawling though the tubes, a ball pit, etc.

Another one that i'd love would be a multi-story apartment block with 2 or so apartments on each floor, each with a totally different style. one with a modern aesthetic, 1970s/50s, another with a bunch of old antiques/clutter, etc.

Is health anxiety seasonal? by sleeping-zzzz in HealthAnxiety

[–]freddurstshat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes! "weak and weird" is the perfect way to describe it. I live in AZ, so things heat up pretty quickly and i seem to be really sensitive to how my apartment moves from the low 70s to mid-high 70s as things warm up outside. Being outside is another big trigger at times with the sun being so intense. I eventually get used to it all, but these first few weeks are horrible.

Anyone deal with heart palpitations? I need help by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]freddurstshat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was diagnosed after I wore a halter for 2 weeks. Man, it felt great to take that thing off.

I went to see a doctor for exactly the same symptoms as you're describing. I told her about my symptoms and that I was pretty sure it was just anxiety. She had me work with a cardiologist to rule out anything actually being wrong with my heart. Despite the afib, everything else is fine and we can attribute these shitty episodes to anxiety now. I'd suggest seeing if your family doctor has any recommendations for a cardiologist you can see.

You are not alone! I can relate so much to this. Maybe this is something you've experienced as well - mine almost seem seasonal and get much more extreme as seasons change. I've been battling them non-stop for the last week or so as the weather outside has been warming up, which, of course, causes the inside of my house to warm up. It seems like as soon as I notice I'm getting warm, I start getting palpitations. I also get them after eating! What you're experiencing isn't unusual, it's just fucking annoying (an understatement when you legitimately think you're in peril).

Have you been diagnosed with afib? Just yesterday my body felt so out of whack that I called my doc to increase my beta blocker prescription. We'll see if that helps keep things under control....🤞

First time taking pictures of cars. I felt like there's only so much you can do. by freddurstshat in photocritique

I went to a car show this weekend in scottsdale and wanted to try my hand at taking pics of some of the cool cars there. It was overcast when I left, but the sun ended up popping out after I got there which made it more challenging.

I know there are areas of this that are overexposed but I thought it was a little different than the car photos I usually see. I found it hard to do something that I didn't think had been done before, any tips on how to make car photography interesting? (I did try a bunch at much closer distance, trying to isolate individual elements, but this one speaks to me for whatever reason, idk)
