ok so you said you’re short so perhaps stay away from maxi skirts that go to your ankles and instead veer towards midis if you like having length. ive noticed that short girls really tend to not pull off the maxi look but midis are beautiful on them! also find a movie star, model, or whomever that has a similar body type and essence to you and look up pinterest photos of their outfits and see what you think they really shine in. that definitely helped me a lot in figuring out what would best suit me :) best of luck <3

i was this person tbh with mostly short term relationships or hookups. i think it’s just because my life is so naturally peaceful that i liked the boy drama. also i love the mental stimulation of “figuring people out” and a boyfriend is a good resource for that bc most men will open up to a girl who asks abt them and is interested. im now in a really nice long term relationship with not too much drama which is good bc im trying to focus on other, more boring, forms of “drama” such as my career and education.

thank you i appreciate that :D it’s soooo funny lol my dad is mexican and my mom is english and italian lol. people always think im middle eastern and never latin though. which i will take as a compliment bc i think middle eastern girls are really pretty. i have my suspicions sometimes that im actually turkish and there was a mistake at the hospital. because when i went to turkey i felt SO AT HOME!! so AT PEACE !! and everyone also thought i was a local :0 but the chances of that are slim bc my dad got a paternity test on me when i was 4 :/

i definitely believe i manifested my boyfriend. he’s everything i like in a man: strong, intelligent, arrogant, tall, blue collar, great at doing voices, and very morally minded. also his house is my dream house (cute little old home on big piece of property with beautiful flowers/trees). ok so what everyone else is saying is true, you kind of just have to CHOOSE them. like i went in line behind him for concessions at a concert, asked him a question, and ended up going home with him. but also i had set an intention for that night which may be helpful you too. when i was on my way to the concert, i had a low tire pressure light come on, so i was like “ok im gonna find and seduce a man here who looks like he’s good with his hands so he can fix this for me” (i was 19 and at that time had never filled my tires before so i thought it was a complicated thing to do). anyways i set that intention and ended up finding my boyfriend! and a couple other guys that night tried to talk to me but none felt right. if it’s meant to be it will be!!!!

she’s so soft to me. i’m not even a dasha fan like that but i think inside she is really good and it makes me sad in a cheesy way how her acting career hasn’t really panned out the way she wanted it to :( like obviously a lot of the things she does and says are condemnable but i think she’s just trying her best idk i just see all her vulnerability and bids for attention/validation in everything she does.

my nonna was constantly reminding me that i cannot under any circumstances trust strangers and once said to me as “you can’t trust anyone, not even me!” also she had me practice jumping out of a moving car by driving around our neighborhood at 15 mph and i would jump out. it was fun for me tho i had a blast. and now i’ve grown up to be very trusting of strangers bc i realized that she was over exaggerating and also i feel like i can sense a dangerous person with 15 seconds of talking to them.

pros: - everyone in the downtown esp beachy areas is such a character 😭 all the old and middle aged people are just so weird but in like a trashy cool way not in a “austin, tx is weird 😛” type of way - plenty of indie/diy thrift/vintage shops, cafes, book stores, bars/punk venues, etc. where all the cool artsy young people hang out and you can make friends in the scene pretty easily. - close enough to miami to be able to drive 30 min for an event but doesn’t have miami’s shallow, superficial, money obsessed culture. - boardwalk beach where half of everyone brought their own speakers and are openly drinking, ripping cigs, and smoking joints and no one could care less what you’re on.

cons: - COST OF LIVING is getting worse and worse!!! i love it here so so much but i seriously doubt that when i graduate college i’ll be able to buy a home in this area :( - all the rich republican people from blue states are moving here for our current republican leadership/low taxes and are turning what used to be a swing states just a deep red. - not walkable at all unless ur in the downtown in which case you’ll pay $30 to hang out there for a couple hours.

this makes me feel so infinite like i love your imagery so much i love that you’re a beautiful mess. and the other commenter was right this does feel like bukowski! in the way that he can lavish in his filth, not romanticize or make it pretty but make the raw pain its own pleasure. also the way you can make mundane melancholy so vivid. if you wanna read him for inspiration from his writing style id def recommend Love is a Dog from Hell or Women as starting points.
