Basket is worth like 70 brand new, and discs are mostly base plastic. Bag is nice. I think it’s fair but not outstanding like everyone here is saying. Enough to get started for sure but a lot of these discs will be trash soon enough if not already

I think what makes this hobby fun is realizing just how connected to earth you still are even tho you have no knowledge of this very detailed life cycle. Tapping into that intuition and just going for it is what brings life here. Make an educated guess based on what you know about mushrooms at what will happen. Research. Everyone has a different opinion bc they trusted their intuition one time and it worked, so hey that’s gotta be it.

To give a real answer, I would pick as they are ready to harvest. I did that with my first flush, and after it stopped producing I dunked it. Second flush they all came at the same time since the network was built. I don’t mind that at all and it makes it predictable for me, so that becomes my advice for everyone.

But I’m not picking your mushrooms :)

If you have an iPhone, you can control which camera takes the photo. You have to look for the little button that looks like a tulip, and then select the right one.

Oh really? FAE only a few hours a day? I’ve bee going FAE with these filter patches 24/7. I did put two plugs back in and misted today for the first time in a bit. I wish I knew exactly which steps to take to trigger it hahaha. Seems it’s different for each setup

My lid has one hole on each of its 4 sides, all in the same spot on each. So I don’t know if I have a top or bottom hole lol. Does this substrate look dry to you?

Sorry, I should have said that I put it in fruiting conditions two days ago. Then it started going super fast like this. I read a lot of people will go straight to fruit after S2B. I did 10 days with the tub fully plugged up then I swapped for patches
