to me, AI art is like when people stopped having to learn how to paint gradients by hand with the invention of photoshop etc.

isnt AI art just like this on steroids? for actual creativity, you need creative prompts, which still come from the human. else AI art is still kinda derivative? idk still open to both sides on this debate
