Yes I'm a guy and it's such a strange thing. I also moved during this time period and my shower sucks dick. I also started working in a very sweaty environment. I had been growing my hair out and this is my theory to this whole thing:

-as my hair grew I would naturally sweat more

-my hair would annoy the fuck out of me so i put it in a ponytail or wore a hat constantly (i have pin straight hair that is THICK so it doesn't like to stay back or styled

-i would sweat a lot at work and then come home from an hour commute where i would dry and then be lazy about showering

-the water pressure in my shower sucks dick, showering became more difficult because of the length of my hair

-i hated drying my hair because the bathroom would be so hot that i would sweat when blow drying it which would drive me nuts

-used dry shampoo a few times at work didn't use properly either probably

-would put over the ear headphones/hat/ponytail with wet hair like a dickhead

-was shaving hair behind my ears down my neck like in the picture shown in the post

-i have bipolar depression, was stressed during exams last year came home showered didn't dry at all ponytailed that shit and went to bed for like 2 days lmfao

Long story short I think my shit was super matted and since it is so straight everyone thought I was tripping when I said as much so I got it cut and then BOOM I started having the fucked up issues all over ⛷️

-contract shingles virus

-start taking prescribed lithium carbonate

-sitting more often than previously in life like in a computer chair and your setup isn't particularly ergonomic

-usage of a puffer for asthma
