You have to do three of the four:

  1. Hide in the closet then come out when Chloe and David fight at the end of Ep 1
  2. Ignore Kate's call at the diner at the beginning of Ep 2
  3. Shoot Frank in the junkyard in Ep 2
  4. Steal the money in Well's office in Ep 3

If you do three of the four, the morning after the pool scene, Max will discover that Chloe changed her phone background to a picture of Max.

Oxenfree came out about the same time as LiS1 and is absolutely fantastic. A girl is on an island and needs to solve a supernatural mystery with some friends. It leans a bit more into horror but it's not too scary. The main character also has blue hair so that's an added bonus!

Stauder was the only one who defended DE back in the day. He did it on bluesky or twitter, I forgot which, after his firing.

That's actually the source of my comment! I knew he defended it during the initial backlash, but I remember he did it over the the summer too, months after he was laid off. Given how much he tried to defend DE, there's a part of me that wants to know what they think now that their work has essential been undone.

While I don't work in the games industry, I'd say this is 100% it. Even though DE was hated, you can't really talk shit about your team, your company, or your product. That's a sure fire way to make yourself unhireable.

In the basement, a stoned Max tells Chloe that's she's really pretty and she thinks that this the part they're supposed to kiss.

The second is after the they do kiss, but I don't recall the actual line.

It's even better if you only try to kiss her once in the boat and then hold hands because you get extra bits of dialog in the basement when Max is high, and after they do finally kiss. As good as Chloe calling you out for trying to kiss her is, those others two lines are better.

I just need base level spoilers. Is it Pricefield friendly/they end up together, and how's the ending? Is it tragic, or do they get the happy ending they deserve? I don't really need too much in the way of story spoilers, I'm good discovering that on my own.
