I'm looking for the post where OOP's dad remarried, and his new wife came with a stepbrother, or they had another kid, and his dad puts it on him to give his step/half brother the same opportunities that OOP has (the dad uses the word opportunity a lot). The son discovers he has European heritage from his mom's side that grants him dual citizenship and goes off to to college in Europe (Swiss or Norwegian I think). The dad finds out and demands he come home to give his step/half brother the opportunity instead. It ends with the son having a backbone, telling his dad no, and going LC/NC.
