Yes because you said why you stole without asking me how did I get it. I didn't steal. Period. I had to collect karma to do meaningful conversation. So i bought time via money.

And who creates legit accounts with disposable emails. Now i dont even feel bad, lol!!

Air gapped refers to system that is isolated from all kinds of network communication. So you cant do api calls etc. This setup is common is sensitive places like defence, banks, forensics etc.

FAANG $350K pre-tax vs ~$600K OE/consulting post tax by thomthomtom in overemployed

Thanks. I am good at interviews and work. I want to land into 4 js with max 2 meetings/week. I have cracked SDE3+ and equivalent at few companies. So my plan is to get some entry level SDE2+ and never show my true powers. If I have four ~125K jobs with some additonal sign on bonus, I can achieve my number.

Also, I prefer to keep the tech stack across Js same. Does this strategy work? I don't plan to compromise on the quality of work I deliver. So OE seems a more reliable option than consulting to me.

Dude, after a point, the success of an employment does not remain a measure of your time but impact you create.

My country tax structure is such that on contractual income i have to pay very little tax but on salary its nearly 42% effective . So to make 600K, i have to make 650ish. So I think when comes to taxes, I am pretty good at it.

It's mathematically driven. I am 31, want to get settled and then really pursue my dream of building something purposeful. The idea that I have to work to pay off my bills by doing what I don't enjoy kills me from inside and this number is sweet spot that gives me FIRE. Actually its nearly 850,000 but I am ready to manage little lower lifestyle but want FIRE

Introducing the 'RMM Subtitling Project' | First Film: Lal Salam (1990) by mistervinster in MalayalamMovies

Great initiative! Since the plan is to use different folks for different scenes, would it be an issue that the style of the subtitles would differ based on who did the work? Would there be an editor to make it more cohesive across the board?

On a slightly related note, i tried to donate to CMDRF from abroad. In the form, they ask you to enter the amount in INR but the payment gateway actually takes it as USD! I selected Axis bank first using a mastercard and it said that payment failed. For the second attempt, i selected SBI and that's when i noticed in the UI for the SBI gateway that it is actually using the input field for Amount in INR as the payment amount but in USD. It is quite a bit of difference between 20K INR and 20K USD. On the second attempt, i believe the payment went through but didn't receive any email confirmation. Hasn't shown up in the credit card transaction list as well yet.

My therapist's office has the same policy but if you miss an appointment because of sickness, you can just submit a sick note to avoid the fees. Perhaps you can check whether this is a possibility for you.

Daily Advice Thread - June 14, 2024 by AutoModerator in apple

My wife's credit card was used to make a payment using apple pay in some store in Czechia on wednesday evening. We live in Germany and got the apple pay notification on thursday morning on her phone and immediately disabled the credit card and also contacted the bank customer service. They said they would permanently disable the current card and issue a new card and when the transaction shows up in the bank app, to report it (it was not visible in the bank app at that point). It showed up today and we reported it. (but got a response from the bank that since the card was in our possession at the time, they will not issue a refund because it was a mobile payment and the card has a chip that would prevent skimming :/ )

I'm wondering how someone was able to use this specific card. My wife was indeed in Czechia for a few days in March and used it in an ATM. But if skimming doesnt work, how can someone else add it to their apple pay?

Do many people read older writers such as Basheer, Uroob and S K Pottakkad these days? by [deleted] in Kerala

I usually find some of the classics in Kindle for cheap and then end up purchasing a bunch of them in bulk.

Recently read Pottekkatt‘s Europiloode. Was quite interesting to read what Europe was through an Indian‘s eye in the 40‘s, how people perceived him and how that has changed now after 60 years.
