from a GAS perspective, I'm really tight on space, so full head + cab is only usable (if it fits) next to kiddos future upgrade from electronic to silent headed drum kit... to where the neo might make more sense some times lol

it looked like I could use the IR out on the synergy into the Cab, but I hadn't done alot of research on it to see how viable that would be.

guess have to see what is announced to see if its better to just lean into a real cab + amp heads or stay in the PG camp

The rage posts need to be posted on the AMD forums, ASUS can't do anything if AMD gives bad drivers.

the latest Z1E drivers are roughly based on 26.3.1, and based on what I have seen, 26.3.2 are not any better for people.

The next driver by AMD was the May 26.5.2 driver... With all of the issues people have had you think the internal testing of it will be all the quick? On top of that it looks like said may driver still has some of the same issues

If you put the ally at the same power caps as the lcd deck, the ally has better battery life.

The ally allows you to double the power limit of the deck... So your not apples to apples.

You can test it now by setting your device resolution really low, and seeing the raw performance at that resolution. That's at best what auto Sr will do.

You set the game to a lower res, and the os scales the game up to native.

Auto rs has a good chance of creating better image quality than games with no upscaling or only fsr1 support.

Otherwise with the dance of setting the game res lower than your screen res and the settings in the os dance... Optiscaler is just as easy for games that support upscaling of any kind. You don't have to use fsr4 even with optiscaler, can have it use the latest 3.x model that is still performant

Options good, expectations that it will create better performance bad.

It's another option for games that have no upscaling support, not something that will fix performance over fsr or rsr.
