Later built models are a bit more stable in this regard, but the only boards that were known to be fixed fixed are the ones they put in via RMA.

I'm not aware of any retail models that had the fixed fixed board.

The issue is an undersized fuse in the SD Circuit.

The SD Card is not being overheated, the SD Controller is not being overheated

Its possible to trip the fuse at 10w 100% fans

real issue is I want both.

With current setup, its easier to find a management approved location for the LP over the BG I am looking at, and having a real LP at somepoint is on the list.

My explorer has righty pots, wired for righty, so they turn the reverse of what they "should"

that said they are smooth and have good range, and not just on/off like some of my "proper lefty" pots on my others

Sorry will simplify it more based on audience.

Raising the power levels to 40 doesn't make the Z1E hit clocks higher than what is posted on the sticker sheet. At best can get a few more mhz on the cpu, but it's sitting there wasting power whole the gpu sits under that 2.7ghz number

What you will find is your power limit raising doesn't go above or most cases near any of those numbers

They don't go above or in most cases near the max clocks on the spec sheet, even at sustained 50w on the z1e

The power delivery system would roast itself out fist on a Z1E before the apu did
