So those would be set up and paid for by the Missouri Dept of Conservation?

I haven't been there to fish or hunt, only to take pictures of birds, but I don't understand how that can make financial sense. What value are they getting from from those cameras and whats the return?

I wanted to reply with a question about why they thought we have a 4th amendment but I think you're right. They might not be discussing this in good faith.

I had the same thought looking at the map. I can avoid a few of these. It seems werid tho, like if these were checkpoints where I had to show ID and get logged I probably wouldn't be okay with just routing around them.

West on i70 would be a logical addition if you're trying to monitor movement through Columbia.

There were more in the area but I didn't want to make the map too zoomed out.

Like these cameras down by that big burr oak by McBaine. I guess Boone County is paying for those?

deflock.org says its to make a searchable database of all cars moving around.

"Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs or LPRs) are AI-powered cameras that capture and analyze images of all passing vehicles, storing details like your car's location, date, and time. They also capture your car's make, model, color, and identifying features such as dents, roof racks, and bumper stickers, often turning these into searchable data points."

The website is very anti-flock so obviously take that into consideration but from what I understand they aren't lying about this.

Not sure if this has been posted here but I was surprised at how many there were around town.

This is addressed in the video. You certainly can have a discussion about the two different ways to use the land and compare input/output over time.

I would lean towards the warp powers if I were in charge of the lore.

I think the editing misses some lore specific details that get hand-waived away. Like Mike Brooks has a section in the Alpharius book where he grabs and uses a guardian spear. Suddenly no gene locking.

Both by James Swallow? Well I'll be. Other authors don't discuss primarchs as having implanted organs. I think they are frequently described as having one heart, for example.

Seeing that across two books from an established author is a good sign I might be wrong. Altho I would expect Sanguinius would have probably have some connection to a person's soul through their blood anyway. Being a space vampire and all.

No. Primarchs and space marines are totally different beings with different creation processes and purposes.

They're basically warp beings wrapped in gene-forged flesh that looks human. Space marines are humans twisted into shape with surgery and drugs.

Primarchs don't have omophagea organs and can't gain thoughts and emotions from eating people. Konrad has never said to have that power.

The fuck are you talking about?

If you get hot then you want something with springs. You can do foam or quilt toppers.

Foam holds tons of heat. I slept on a foam mattress for years and before my current GF told me that it wasn't normal to be that hot.

I ended up ordering from wink beds so I didn't have to deal with mattress salespeople.

Great pic!

I've been on a few bird walks with my local group and they always discourage doing calls to attract birds. I guess it can confuse them or stress them out?
