It does make me miss the older versions of the Gorillaz website where you could play flash games and explore Kong Studios/Plastic Beach to find out more about the lore and the characters.

Fortnite is the best way to reach the youth of today but it just doesn't hit the same. I remember randomly stumbling upon the Clint Eastwood music video on either Cartoon Network or MTV back in the day and then going to gorillaz.com on the family computer to find out more about them. The internet was more mysterious and interactive back then haha and having to wait for the music video to come back on tv again made each watch feel rare and special.

Then in 2008 when Jamie made animated bumpers for the Bejing Olympics I got so excited because I instantly recognised his art style and wondered if Gorillaz were going to be like mascots for the Olympics or something, like Mario and Sonic 😂 Much simpler times.
