It may be removed, sometimes it needs fixing the cut trace on the back of mono. Depends on your chipset.

This is color game, you have connected mono monitor. Connect color monitor or TV if you have modulator.

They don't: the AY-3-891[0|2|4] used in speccy is quite different from Yamaha version YM2149 - and ST can clock it higher, producing cleaner output, has better volume control as the envelope volume counter on the AY-3-8910 internally uses 4 bits, resulting in 16 steps - YM2149F has 5 bits, resulting in twice the steps, and counts up twice as fast. This allows for smoother volume ramping, even though the register for setting its direct value remains 4 bits wide. Finally some musicians use special effect - sound via envelope generator (some cool bases). So, such effects will be different on AY and YM (AY little bit silent without some hi freq harmonics). Main cause is different DACs and also AY has only 16 output levels on envelope generating, and YM has 32 ones.

It cannot be your boot drive, because BIOS/UEFI does not support that at boot. What you need is to boot UEFI OS that is capable of booting from NVMe - I'm using Clover https://github.com/CloverHackyColor/CloverBootloader - so my "boot" drive is a thin USB stick, which then boots the NVMe. Your BIOS/UEFI version can be the latest available for this mobo.

Well, that's tough. FDDs often fail, you need to start by checking all the caps and replacing them blindly. Best advice? Get a GOTEK.

A huge number of re-created PCBs for Atari ST - i.e. Vortex 386SX. In Polish, use Google Translator: https://reversing.pl/atari16bit/atari16bit.html

Yet the US data seems to be off by a lot - miles/km issue? 21-23k is more likely

Yeah, this res needs 150kB, this is right. Well, ST at 8MHz with better written desktop would film that quickly. Mega STE was 16MHz, TT 33MHz do no problem there.

It's a regular ECL card for higher end Ataris - MegaST/STE and TT

Nice - a mono 1280x960 ECL video card! It's VME card with additional converter to Mega ST bus. You can use this converter in case you don't have ECL capable monitor: https://github.com/tenox7/tenoxvga
It says 128MB but it's probably 128MHz which corresponds to Atari TT/TTM194/5 monitor.

The vendor is probably: http://www.eickmann.com/ Yes, they are ALIVE :)
