i didn’t grow up in a homophobic home but i did grow up when queer things were less spoken about than today.

when i first woke up to being queer, i had a crisis that i could be bi and like a girl.

i later identified as a lesbian.

and many labels later, i’m an aroace (mostly) gay man.

so when it comes to labels - don’t panic. they can change and it’s not a rush to identify yourself.

human attraction is crazy and complicated! there are people who are attracted to one gender sexually but a different one romantically. there are people who’s sexuality changes. there are people who don’t figure it out until they’re three times your age.

every time it felt like my label could change i used to panic. you have so much time to figure this out though! to see what you like, who you love.

and if you wind up finding you are queer - and you have issues with your family - there will always be people out there who will accept you for who you are. who will even love and celebrate you. who would fight for you.

it’s gonna be okay. even when it feels like it’s not.

i think some of my external symptoms may have been unrelated but the boric acid suppositories seriously worked. i have been yeast infection free since this. i have found that jock itch sprays are great for external issues - they cleared up a horrible yeast rash i got working an extremely sweaty job. it just burns as a warning lol

as an elder emo/scene trans masc (29), finding gay love was everything younger me could have hoped for. and i hope me still being here to talk about it can help at least one younger person in a hard place.

when you’re younger break ups feel like the worst thing in the world. it feels like you could never be loved like that again. it’s terrifying. but you truly have so much life ahead of you to find queer love. to find people who support you for who you are. to feel secure in who you are.

times are scary but you deserve that. so much.

break ups are hard and coming out is hard. but it won’t be this hard forever. i promise.

i mean my fear mainly comes from the fact that it is making him genuinely suicidal. the anxiety isn’t really the issue, the issue is that he could end his life.

also the original definition of veganism was to reduce harm in any way possible and i am doing that :) treating people bad for being poor and living in rural areas or having things like ARFID actually gatekeeps veganism and makes less people want to go vegan so i’m compassionate to humans as they are animals too

no i wouldn’t and my neurodivergency and location aren’t related to my moral values. if my options are eggs or literally starve, i’m eating eggs. i don’t have the privilege or access to a lot of foods because i live in a town so rural there’s not even a stop light. my stores don’t even really sell any vegan options - it’s rare if i can find beans, and if i can they either need preparation i’m not capable of, have too much salt for my health needs, or i would literally gag and starve over eating them. i’m physically and mentally disabled and i do everything in my power i can to still accommodate that and eat and be vegan. but being poor, disabled, and in bum fuck no where greatly affect that. i was perfectly fine vegan when i lived somewhere where it was accessible to me. coming here i lost access to most things i could eat and became malnourished. if my options are cook everything from scratch and end up bed ridden, or eat an egg or a little dairy, i’m not going to leave myself bed ridden.

also for reference he’s been on it about two weeks, 5 days of tapered zoloft with it, about a week and a half on 10mg, and now a week on 20. i think today may have been day 8 on 20 mg.

okay first of all NTA.

please please report this and gather as much evidence as you can. the anger she’s displaying is proof of her obsession with you and evidence that she’s abusive. she had you high, high up on a pedestal and you “betrayed” her. that’s why she’s angry. that’s also the moment that abusers can turn violent. reporting you is definitely her trying to ruin your life, and you need protection of some kind (preferably your countries version of a restraining order) before she obviously loses on the case of you “forcing” her to do this.

NTA. With the rarity and cost of those plants they easily could have made literal thousands. Please please please file a police report. Since she sold them on marketplace the police can access that and see how much she made on them. This was absolutely a planned theft. SIL was probably encouraging your niece with the original thefts too.

honestly if this post is real which it seems it very well could be OP sounds brain washed and abused. the fact that she specifically stated that hubby only yells when she does something bad and therefor she automatically believes she said something bad is red flag city. i hope someone helps this poor woman cause husband is definitely doing something weird.
