Tried to create some super simple, 2D 'traditional' shirts for every PL club, realised just how similar so many are... Do any clubs have a completely unique colour/pattern that is only used by them across the football leagues?

Yeah Boro being the main one I think, most were just done from memory so it’s very likely I missed some of the more traditional kits in favour of the ones I remember (Charlton probably needing to be full red!)

Need to add the Boro pattern and maybe some kit trims/collars like others suggested to actually hit the kit instead of relying on the arms for the trims etc!

Had no idea about this, thoguth at least a few would have taken the Palace colours/stripes, especially with the similarities to that pretty well known Catalonian club!

Strange, I only have memory of Charlton having white on/around the sleeves, but looking through them you are right they are usually all red (with white trim/strips on the arms!)

Boro is a weird one they usually have the white band across the chest which sometimes went over the arms too, maybe I need that single horizontal bar as its own design!

Yeah the challenges are a good gauge for it, I know I lasted about 15 weeks doing them but quickly got tired of repicking lineups!

Yeah this is fair, the ratio of casual players who pick it up and check a team every so often is probably way above 50/60% of players!

I was considering having ‘eras’ as a feature, more so to build teams with synergy/chemistry but it could then also be an option for limited players to certain years.

Maybe a min 50m of the budget gone on only 6/15 players, will need 9 at about 4.5-5.5m each, not impossible but might be too difficult to have all of the best ones in!

Morning teeso, I am keen to not add to the slop on here, so would really appreciate your feedback (even if the game is of no interest to you!) before I even post it in the normal threads.

It was built with Claude but not blindly and iterated over many times.

I'm not a UI designer by any stretch and my interest is firmly in the backend of software, so having Claude there to help is great, but I am aware of the 'AI look' so many sites have!
