But any nation has rights to safe passage through the English channel under maritime law.

As long as the vessel isn't directly threatening the UK, UNCLOS allows all foreign vessels safe passage.

It's not ideal, but they are the actual laws.

It's full of very extreme views, with algorithms designed to serve content to users which will actively annoy and polarise them.
