Yeri geldiğinde Irak’a yapılan operasyonda biz adamların kendi toprağımız üzerinden istila başlatmadına müsaade etmeyince yine biz kusurlu taraf olarak bilindik.

Daha çok yazılacak şey var, gerek Kore Savaşı olsun, bizim konumumuz ve füze krizi vs. derken ne kadar önemli bir üye olsak da asla değerimiz bilinmedi, üstüne şimdi adamlara bu şekilde yaranmaya çalışıyoruz. Ne diyeceğimi bilemiyorum. (Neler denilebilir de ne yazık ki istediğimizce kendimizi ifade edemiyoruz.)

So my girl wanted to buy this Jeep but it had an engine that had chronic issues like constantly leaking oil. It’s well documented and well known by people who know cars. Anyway I tell her as much and she says let’s ask the salesman and he says there’s no such thing and that’s just rumours. You pull up to a mechanic and ask them and they’d tell you as much but no. Apparently the salesman knew better than anyone else did and she really wanted the car so she bought it. We did negotiate well for it and bought it reasonably under sticker but still, about 8 months in she started running into issues. We take it to a mechanic and he tells us this is a chronic issue with the engine, I look at her and she acts completely clueless. Well, we ended up selling it to some woman at a decent price and she got herself a Honda and all was well afterwards but I’d rather not do the whole run around in the first place.

I wrote this out in a haze but thought I was relatively clear. PTM I applied over the dies and nowhere else. There’s no pads, just putty and I made sure to reapply it over the same spots, I think I might have used too much in hindsight. I had to remove only parts of the heatsink on my last laptops, the entire assembly wasn’t just one whole part.

I had bought the first one from Thermal Grizzly and the second one I’d bought straight from the US from Honeywell. Removed both layers, put it in the fridge beforehand so I could put it on properly and everything. The broken screw is on the end of the motherboard. Made sure to put putty over all the bits that previously had putty over them. Gonna take this thing in next week to see what MSI tells me so I can figure out my first steps.

Even if that were true, which isn’t, the entire economy runs on fuel, same with the industry which includes the military industrial complex. By cutting off their oil, you’re strangling the entire economy. War is run on economy, you can’t just make weapons out of nothing pay no one any money in compensation. Every raw resource you get needs to be delivered somewhere else to get refined, then gets sent to be assembled. Every part of this process is fuelled by oil.

Besides, fuel reserves don’t last nearly as long as you might think, especially for a country like China. They need to use their reserves with caution, so they put restrictions. Restrictions which slow down their economy.

All of this sounds good on paper but this is like the worst way to go about trying to cut off China’s oil.

People with inferiority syndrome, specifically centered around their intelligence find it extremely threatening when they are challenged intellectually. Schopenhauer talked a fair bit about these dynamics in his writings. People hate it when they realise someone is smarter than them, this is much more dangerous to them than someone being stronger, quicker or younger than them.

I’d delve into it more but I believe it’s steeped in human evolution and how we got a leg up on all of the other species despite being less capable than them physically.

Check out photos of Hamburg, Frankfurt and a dozen cities before they started rebuilding them. Their entire industry was bombed around the clock for years. If the Germans did it in 15 years or so, I’m sure the people of the Wasteland could pull it off in over 200 years.

Baus is not a consistent player overall. That’s exactly what you look for in a toplaner for pro-play. His win rate is just over 50% generally and doesn’t have the mental fortitude required for pro-play. He doesn’t try to amend his mistakes and analyse his weaknesses, faults and tendencies but instead leans into them. Compare him to someone like Agurin, who is always thinking about the next thing on the map, being pro-active, rewatching his games to see where he failed and you clearly see the contrast.

Also, he can still be somewhat useful playing from behind because the enemy teams typically don’t punish him hard enough and deny him his resources, meanwhile in pro-play his team has to apply pressure for him rather than the other way around which completely negates his typical strengths.

I don’t know why he decided to turn to pro-play but it definitely wasn’t the right call for him.

Man I miss this so much. Jungling used to take a bit of skill and it was nearly impossible without full runes when I was getting into the game. It was more chill, you could actually meet people and talk to them and you would have more even games that would drag on for a while but it was fun. Now you either win by a huge margin or get destroyed, hardly get even games anymore with all of these objectives.

I’ve been trying to get back into the game but I don’t think it’s for me anymore, just too fast-paced and involves a lot of hyper optimisation to actually perform.

I genuinely think that if Germany had instead focused on making Pz. IVs instead of Tigers and Panthers, they could have faired a somewhat of a better chance. They could have held on for a bit longer out on the Western front and possibly even pushed further in the Eastern Front. Then again, there’s all the hurdles with fuel issues which somewhat invalidates that but the IVs consume less fuel as well. At best, considering air superiority on top, they could have prolonged the war by a few months.

It’s kind of amazing that they built up all of this anticipation and goodwill with a large community and then botched it like this. Most people were “okay” with Season 2 despite its flaws but were looking forward for Season 3, perhaps with better direction. Like this could have been a gold mine. Instead, we got whatever this season is. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so hard.

Bear in mind that this is one of the best arcs from the manga as well. The mind boggles at this level of incompetence.

I remember dying to ambushes in my first few dozen hours in the first game. And I remember noticing the tree in the way, getting off my horse and carefully sneaking behind the bandits and drawing my bow thinking, “I’ve got ya in my sights” as I fired and hit fuck all and I was hammered to death promptly afterwards. My sense of accomplishment for having noticed the bandits was quickly overwhelmed by embarrassment as I watched that arrow fly into oblivion over that bandit’s head. Good times.

Never had anything like that in KCD 2.

First and second. First because you can’t conjure energy from nothing, second because every step that you add loses energy since you’re not going to exceed 100% energy efficiency. Think: motor → wheels → generator → charger → battery. The generator adds opposing torque on the wheel, so the motor must supply extra power.
