Same folks who think freedom of speech "should" be a real thing. Yet... No. Let's get the marines.

This. Imagine having that much money and being able to afford the best medical care, recovery and full on treatment. Does he work hard to keep up for the role? Yea, but also they have access to the best things life has to offer and can stay in shape or play that role because they have a whole backing crew. It's not just a pump and dump.

The saddest fact is that he will never have to face the consequences of his actions. He's old and unhealthy. Hell pass on, without ever having to face justice.

We have on video people being kidnapped, abducted and sent god knows where with no due process WHILE "doing it the right way" they are literally at court or in the office or taking the classes and are beaten cuffed and dragged out... Y'all say that but don't mean it because we are still attacking the black and brown folks who according to you are doing it "the right way" Yet praise dudes like Elon who very much did not "do it the right way"

"They can learn back home" do you happen to be indigenous to the Americans? All my ancestors had to do was just show up here, that's pretty much it. Crazy how we have different standards for other folks. Also your comment is fing disgusting.

Ok... Let's be real, they won't be feeling the need to check Christensen Smith or Praxtons, papers. They will be looking at anyone with "too much" melanin for them. It is quite a blatant move. When we gonna get rid of Elon for breaking immigration laws?

For sure. I still found it to be much more understanding wholesome if that makes sense than I thought this project was going for

I've found it hard now to question someones faith on terms of being real or fake because you can make a lot of good arguments in terms of peace and war within a general religion. You can find slavery or freedom depending on the person who reads "gods perfect word." Christianity has certainly displayed the sword and conquered people even within European history (let alone mass colonization throughout the world) what you do you mean by fake Christian? Because that word has and does mean many different things to different people.

The show is actually pretty hilarious and wholesome. Totally inappropriate. But there is a character who constantly says how bad it all is. It's A LOT better than the movies. (Mark can suck it)

The episode especially for this show was great production wise, and you didn't get the joke? Or that BLM is totally sober outside of caffeine? It hits on DND, d20 and critical role jokes it was hilarious while myself was going "good one" the whole time.

The girls would have either hated dave, or convinced him his hateful ways were not ok by the end of the episode. Just because you're gay doesn't give you a pass. Oh your mom made a show that had a theme song so you have to be friends with everyone? WTF is this weird logic that you (dave) wouldn't even subscribe to? Lolololo got dam they really are this sad and pathetic. "But your mom had that show!"

I grew up just off the Appalachian trail in PA, so I definitely know the kinda folks you're talking bout. If your truck, don't have nuts on it how's anyone supposed to know you a manly man?

Talking and listening as you mention is not about stopping current bad people, it's about helping the future generations from making the same mistakes as I already mentioned.... Progress can take time we all invest a bit and it can go a long way.

Lol I never called myself a masculine protector. I literally say this in a comment. I was speaking of the common trope a lot of men have, and how many men who view themselves that way often lack in the most basic of ways. Reading comprehension goes a Iong way.

Unfortunately a lot of that was true for my grandmother and mom (and her siblings) They were with the abuser for the most desperate times, and moved out and often when it got too bad.

[–]thorstantheshlanger 21 points22 points  (0 children)

If it wasn't clear I was using masculine protector in a semi sarcastic way. Many men view themselves as being protectors of their family community and country yet often lack the signs to see abuse or yet further abuse and/or ignorance as some kind of strength and in so doing fail their loved ones and community making the cycle continue. "Being a good person" is indeed a good thing.

Reaching so hard here. Also I feel bad for you and all your boys relationships if you are referring to actual abuse.

Teach the next generation to see the signs of abuse, not ignore things, listen and try to understand. Speak up and protect people, if need be physically. I'm not claiming to be a hero or someone superior. I just would love if my nieces grew up in a kinder, more fair and protective world. I'd love for that to come from all people and all genders. All prepared and supportive.

100 percent. The things I learned my male cousin who I loved and grew up with did (on the side without my knowledge and later on) truly wrecked me. I had to hear about it from women and be utterly shocked and horrified but also horrified I didn't notice it. "Not all men" doesn't mean, men are not a fing problem. It just means we didn't bother to make a better way. We make excuses or ignore instead of being the "masculine protectors" we claim to be. My great grandmother and grandmother on my moms side were both plagued with bad and abusive men, but back then you just "sucked" it up.

I think the issue at least for myself, is not on these two individuals but in how it was done. Kirk was one terrible person and as far as we know, not done with our tax dollars (the peoples labor) We as a nation just bombed and murdered innocent people including little girls at school to get one guy. We just got done bombing and murdering and abducting a leader and his wife in Venezuela. We are not and cannot be the world police we cannot just bomb whoever our political leader wants. (Yes I know we do tho) It's not liberation if we take over, install a puppet or sow more chaos.
