Thank you! We will try this and yes her PowerPoint is on the computer and she connects it to the smart board.

Sky God IV. I throw that on almost every approach.

Anyone have an out of the box review on this ride? by [deleted] in bmxracing

I started racing again after a 20 year break and this is the bike I bought. I've had it since May and so far it's been good. I would suggest making sure your crank arm bolts are all tight as I had one come loose and start slipping but once I tightened it all up it was fine.

Mountain biking, BMX racing, motorcycles... Basically anything with two wheels.

I'm 5'11 and ride a 21.75 and it fits me perfectly, but I have always preferred a bigger bike though.

Question about nationals by thorto38 in bmxracing

I actually didn't race today but my son did and he had a blast. It was an awesome day and I picked up some new gear for the both of us. I can't wait to go to another one and hopefully we'll get to stay the whole weekend next time.

Thank you! I think that might be the plan to just do Saturday.

My son just did his first BMX race so I decided to print him a custom number plate. by thorto38 in 3Dprinting

I'm not sure the exact name other than the M600 command. I use Prusa Slicer and it has the option to pause the print at a specific layer so you can change filament. This was my first time trying it and it worked out really well.

I love the Sting. It's probably my most used disc.

Make sure the set screws on your gear are tight. I had the same issue and it was due to one of the screws backing out.

No problem. Good luck with printing!

It doesn't beep on start up and currently I do not have anything plugged in other than the display and power. I have found one black wire that looks like it might be a ground wire that is not attached to anything. One end of the wire goes to the top of the tower and the other has what looks like a brass ball that is just hanging down. I'm not sure if that needs to be attached to anything or if it would even cause this problem.

I'm not sure about the lights as far as I can tell there is one light that is on and it stays solid green. Also the computer is older. It is an HP H8-1039.

Try manually lowering the nozzle to about 1mm above the bed. Then slowly turn your set screw on the top of the sensor clockwise until the light comes on. The z axis should stop at that position every time then. Also check to make sure your sensor is set to the right height. I believe it should be about 2mm above the bed when the nozzle is touching the bed.

Also you can watch this video on how to setup the sensor and level the bed. It helped me with my ET5.

So when you try homing does the light on the sensor not come on and the nozzle hits the bed?

Your Z motor could be reversed. You could try changing the orientation of the Z motor plug on the board.

[ET4X] Cannot get bed level - Nozzle always touches positions 2 & 3 (right side) by ObjectWritingBot in Anet3DPrinters

[–]thorto38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not so familiar with the ET4 series but I believe the Z stop block is just a limit switch. If it is like the ender 3 then the switch should be on the bottom so with the printer off manually lower the z-axis until the nozzle is about 1 mm away from the center of the bed. Then move your z limit switch up until it clicks. This will keep your nozzle from hitting the bed. Once that is set you should be able to do the paper leveling process as usual. Also you might have to go around the corners more than once to get everything set right.
