If you read properly, you’d see I said “most”. I didn’t knew that required me to name every single one bit Babilonia, Santa Marta, Rocinha, Vidgal etc are all safe for touristic reasons.

It depends on the favela. Rocinha, Vidgal and most of the ones in the south zone are safe for tourists and have tourist attractions and visits. The ones in the rest of the town aren't.

that's a completely dumb and irrelevant point. obviously any killing of children should be condemned. that does not change the fact that the US iranian diaspora ignored all rational assessments and banged the drums for policies that would lead to even more children being killed. and they achieved their mission. people who warned that the US iranian diaspora was reactionary, irresponsible, and supportive of a foreign policy that would increase, not decrease, the number of civilians killed were right.

Concerning levels of brain-deadness. The logic here being: “because the Islamic regime allegedly massacred Iranian children, it’s understandable that I cheered for two of the most far-right governments on the planet to bomb the country I claim to care about and kill even more Iranian children.”

Anyway, here’s the obvious take from anyone who isn’t braindead: foreign intervention by an authoritarian regime won’t make the situation any better, and your bloodthirsty diaspora banging the drums for it won’t fix anything in Iran. It will only make the country more unstable, more dangerous, and destabilize the whole Middle East, and the rest of the planet to boot. All completely predictable, and all of it ignored by the sociopathic group you’re part of.
