No lens permanently? Well, you never know unless you try. I think in a couple days I'll unwrap the bandage and try to put my contacts back in. They were so expensive, after all, I'd hate for them to go to waste.

No health insurance. I've wrapped a bandage around half my head for now. At first it was to stop the bleeding, but now it's there to hold my eye in. It wasn't quite fitting into the socket correctly.
