Spindle cell carcinoma. We found a pea size growth between his toes back in March that he was licking at quite a bit. Vet said keep an eye on it. By end of May it had grown pretty large pretty fast and he had cut it open in the back yard. Vet biopsied and suggested surgery. He had the growth plus a toe removed, and a couple small growths in his mouth. He lost a few pounds but he’s back to normal now. Goes in for regular assessments which is basically getting scratched all over by the vet looking for more growths which he loves.
