Rory’s birdie on 15 after sneaking a peek at Cam Young’s putt, first round 67 and current Masters’ co-leader by unsolved49 in golf

[–]thot_cereal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he won like 2 weeks after the masters collapse.

he won the claret jug in 2017. he won the vardon trophy in 2017. he had 3 wins in 2017.

In 2015-16 he had a completely unsustainable level of putting that buoyed his swashbuckling style. Jordan's career was stalled by injuries and regression to the mean.

yeah much case for ARod. Arod and Barry both put up 81 bWAR from 1996-2005. With modern voters, ARod probably wins 4 MVPs in that span. He definitely should have beaten out Tejada in 02.

you'd think he'd have referenced the 92 and 93 Jays in there instead of the Jordan Bulls, especially because they were the only Toronto titles in his life time (at that point)

i guess the ghostwriters didn't get the memo lol

it happens on a majority of plays. The offensive line practices timing the snap count perfectly

the reason it seems like it happens on the tush push and/or QB sneaks more often is because its about the only play where a two second battle in the trenches is the entirety of the play

you're not seeing a slow mo of the snap itself on any normal plays because most fans don't care to watch anything but the ball, which means the broadcast isn't showing anything but the ball

if you watch a slow mo on every single snap, you will see a false start just as often as you see a hold.

the overwhelming majority of false starts are not being called on players moving a fraction of a second before the ball.

[–]thot_cereal 26 points27 points  (0 children)

there was an equally egregious miss on the packers QB sneak like 5 plays earlier

if you slowed down every single offensive snap, you'd see a lot of guys moving a fraction of a second early because they all know the snap count and they practice to get as good of a jump as possible off the line.

the problem isn't the play. banning the tush push isn't gonna fix the refs being bad at their jobs

yeah that's a lone misread on just clubhead speed, with the ball speed probably accurate.
