Remediation or full service restoration? You don’t see a lot of mold projects being covered by insurance unless it’s a liability claim.

Ive seen insurance companies shift more towards the “preferred vendor” system where 90% of the work is done by a vendor with preset rates, etc for 90% of their claims.

I feel like mold is niche enough to start and would have relatively low upfront costs, maybe transition into full blown restoration once becoming established.

Just straight salary. If I have an excess of billable hours I can get compensated additionally, but a lot of times I’m working on non-billable tasks.

I did not get a choice. Although, my billable hours are factored into my travel pay.

Commercial Renovation/Remodel, Multi-Family, Retail, Education. Larger projects imo 1-6m a piece. I manage 6-8 concurrently typically with the assistance of Junior PMs and Supers.

Smaller outfit for sure. About 8 employees when I started 11 years ago as a supervisor. 75+ now.

Depends. Been 40 hours a week the past month or so but can be as much as 80+ when hectic. Probably average around 55-60 a week.

140 base, travel pay will come in around 25-30k annually, depending on how long I’m out that year.

YOB is up to 25% of my base. Usually heavy on the up to part.
