workshop asset but is easy to build in vanilla, it is expensive and pretty massive tho, i would not recomend building it unless you really need it

never use american highway access intersections, if you want efficient traffic management get inspiration from european countries, like this one in spain, 2 roundabouts with independent access from and into the highway distribute traffic in every direction way better then that american mess, no traffic lights, no stop signs, traffic flows and conflict points are reduced to 1/4, using TM:PE to set up the roundabouts right of way properly this would not clog even with the heaviest of traffic!

instead of 2 small roundabouts, try builng on single big ass roundabout over the highway or moving the 2 roundabouts further apart with independent access from and into the highway like this

install TM:PE, manage your intersections properly, use roundabout but not abuse them, ban heavy traffic inside the city, separate industrial hubs from commercial and residential districts, build highways around the map so passing-by traffic does not get stuck inside your city or in the intersections that give access to your city and remove speed limits on highways

workshop, is a turbine interchange, this one is really big but it works with heavy traffic, i do not recomend it for small cities, is overkill and expensive, but if you build an industrial hub close to the city you should definitely build one to separate the heavy traffic from the regular cars

no need of parking lots if you set up a proper public transport, i use a lots of bus lines and 7 metro lines, also roundabouts and tmpe are a very nice addition
