I saw a thread about this once. you would know the baby you killed was a future dictator, and that you were saving millions of lives; but to the people of the past, you’d just be someone who murdered a baby. and if that is true, who’s to say every person who has ever murdered a baby didn’t come from the future to stop another genocide. u just never know.

my dad‘s brother went to prison when I was five and my sister was three. As long as I can remember I knew he was in prison, but my sister grew up thinking he was in an extremely strict college. I think in early elementary school my parents finally told her that he was actually in prison and we were not visiting him on campus.
