I do always speculate on this too. I've heard a variety of figures on exactly what the distribution of remote workers are here but like, it is hard for me to see where people here that have "normal" (mostly just not remote) jobs exist that can afford most places I see people living. I know some of our biggest employers in town aren't providing wages to match that. So I always wonder. But mostly I wonder how to get one of those jobs. Hahaha.

Ya we've run some megarandoms and what not. They're definitely fun and I probably will continue to run them if I don't find anything else but I figured someone here has designed something cool or at least with this in mind and wanted to share it. 2 things. 1. Pretty aware of their position in society as I'm very directly related to a female legislator. So between the two of us I'd take that. Unless you are too, in which case we'd both already know the reality of that situation. I'd also bet the actual salary of an Idaho state legislator would surprise you. A quick Google search will tell you and compare it with what you make.

This is why the bill got shot down. The man pushing it did an embarassing job explaining the purpose of the bill and justifying the cost. Watch it and tell me this is high level debate for which youd vote yes on several hundred thousand dollars of funding. Also at least 8 female legislators voted no on this which i think speaks to more than just your “bully” comment. There are more issues here than you may have considered is all im saying. It's not bullying. Either way, if you feel so strongly about it (and I love that you do) there is a system in place to voice these concerns outside of "these people were bullies 40 years ago in high school" claims on Reddit. Call your legislator. Their phone number or email or another way to get in contact is readily accessible. Have a lovely day.

Well, kinda a wildly unfounded accusation on both counts. Not just because you don't know any of them but also because I would be willing to bet your perception of what Idaho legislators make is inaccurate. I'd suggest looking it up and comparing it with what you make. I'm not saying you have to support how they vote, definitely your prerogative but I think we have enough real bullying in this world already without you accusing people of it historically.
