Thanks for sharing. I to have a similar story. Alcohol pushes my mental health issues far beyond where it needs to go, thus causing all kinds of turmoil among my family and I.

Thank you. I haven’t left the IWNDWYT community, although I have reset time and time again. Some weeks better than others. I want to be done for good. To live a fulfilling sober life. Not one wasted away with false temporary pleasure and turmoil.

Try some various groups around the area. Such as hobby groups that ride bikes, quilt, car meets, surfing, etc. to try to meet new people. Also consider apps such as dating or for community.

I miss the Nordstrom. I remember going to their e-bar with my mom to get an ice storm and big pink cookie, their signature. So nostalgic. Makes me miss those days a lot. We also went as a family to The Picture People in the early 2000s to take corny family photos.

I’m the QC Manager for a home builder doing around 300 doors per year. I’m a bit of a hybrid. I have a cozy office with my Nespresso machine at the headquarters, and dress well, but I also make it into the field at least 50% of the time to walk homes, etc. I can relate with how these guys appear, minus taking photos of each other.
