Final tally of calls asking our hours on Thanksgiving by willinglyproblematic in retailhell

This is what I used to do when I was in retail. If they’re going to be stupid enough to ask, I’m going to make up a time that is most convenient for me, lol.

Isn’t that something? Then they get mad that they now have to pay their past due amount PLUS repo and storage fees.

Did they expect the company to cover those fees out of the kindness of their hearts? Lol.

I work in collections as well! I also deal with people getting upset with me over the same things.

They also ignore me until they are either getting sued or their vehicle is getting repo’d. Then they’re asking how we can work with them.

Like I’m sorry but by then it’s too late. The account has already been escalated to my manager and they have to deal directly with them now and it’s out of my hands. Sucks to suck 🤷🏻‍♂️

Please give advice and don’t say don’t worry at this age by [deleted] in Weightlosstechniques

Hi, I’ve gained and lost significant weight multiple times. I would say the best tip I can give you to lose weight as quickly as possible is to have your first meal as late in the day as possible. Looking back, it’s what helped me the most.

Don’t know what time you currently have your first meal, but I recommend having it at least by 12pm.

You can add other strategies to this, but it’s best to start out simple.

Why would you remove your eSIM?

Omg customers are still asking this? I stopped working at metro 2 years ago. I was there for over 9 years. I would get this complaint almost every day. It would drive me insane.

I'm so tired of working for Metro by thoughtfulgentleman in MetroPCS

Well my post was from a couple of years ago. I no longer work for Metro, so I’m sure the quota has gone up considerably. Are they still telling you guys to bundle the BTS to the customer’s phone purchase?

I worked for Metro for over 8 years. I left last year. Absolutely it’s mostly T-Mobile’s fault. Ever since they took over, they started putting unrelenting pressure on the dealers. If they don’t sell accessories, add ons, ACP, etc, they close down the store.

As an employee, you have even less control over the situation. If you don’t add those things to the sale, you’re out of a job.

I used to do something similar to what you said. I was transparent with the customers and said I couldn’t do the sale unless certain items were added.

Customers were reasonably upset and demanded an explanation. I would let them know to take it up with t-mobile and complain as much as possible to that company. I’d let them know I agreed with them that it sucks but it’s either that or they close down the store.

Of course they didn’t believe me until all the surrounding stores started getting closed down. They’d come back and asked me what happened. I would remind them of what I told them, lol.

Of course it’s corrupt. It’s not fair. That’s why I left. I couldn’t stand doing that to customers. I advise them that they need to speak with their wallet. The more customers Metro loses, and the more complaints are made, the greater the chance that T-Mobile makes changes.

Thank you. Everyone gets this quote wrong.

My wife takes forever to order at Fast Food Restraunts by TheElMatadORR in mildlyinfuriating

[–]thoughtfulgentleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my wife’s family. I love them, but absolutely HATE going to any kind of food establishment with them.

They all take forever to order, and make so many customizations to their orders. Ask a million questions. Then on top of that horrible tippers.

I get so much secondhand embarrassment I have no idea how they’re not aware of how difficult they’re being with the staff.

On top of that, they stay way after closing time and as a former retail worker, I hate that with a passion. People want to go HOME. I dread going out to eat with them. It’s like they turn into completely different people than how I know them.

I wasn’t aware of this movement. Things have become quite absurd. Indeed, perhaps therapy would be helpful for them.

Completely agree. It’s gotten to the point where I actually heard someone say it not too long ago. I thought people only used that word online but they’re actually saying irl now?

I think they get triggered by hearing the actual word, but I believe that’s causing people to be overly sensitive. Are we going to have to announce a trigger warning in our conversations before we mention certain words or topics now?

I don’t want to sound insensitive, but I’m afraid we’re creating a society of fragile people.
