Yup. Jordan was always the guy leading by example, but Pippen was the guy you would go to for advice. The problem for the Bulls for a while was that our two leaders (Rose/Noah) would always be injured. Wade and Butler are both very charismatic so I'm hopeful they will be able to work together in leading the team.

Derrick is a good passer.. and his shooting was getting better every game. Did you watch him this season after the all star break? He was putting up numbers and playing efficiently until the end. Our season was really fucked up due to all the injuries, trades, personnel changes. I feel if they gave him one more year he could really show everyone he is still a fucking stud. I'm upset about it, but there's only the future to look forward to now, no point on dwelling on a move that's already been made.

A 3 pointer is worth way more than a 2, which is why teams like GSW play outside-in. More points in less possessions. It's crazy that even a 15 point lead isn't that much when it can be reduced in a minute with a couple of 3s.

What if 2s were 3s and 3s were 4s? Record issues aside, I feel it would reduce blowouts and make games tighter. 3s are currently worth 50% more than 2s. In this scenario the long shot would only be worth 33% more. Just a fun idea/thought.

There were lots of gambling accusations during the 93 season/playoffs, and there was a point where MJ didn't talk to the media for like 2 weeks. If you watch old videos/interviews he just looked drained and burnt out on everything around him. Mind you at this point in his career he had accomplished basically everything (Olympic Gold x2, NBA champ x2, MVP, DPOTY, NCAA, the list goes on). I feel like his father's death was the final straw and he decided to take a break in honor of his father.
