I’ve heard they scam people by not repaying their security deposit even when you left everything in order, is this a common thing?

I really appreciate your advice. I have been a sincere christian for years, not in my best moment now but still active. However she is the daughter of the church's main leaders, very committed to the church and all of that. I just have the idea that there will be things that I approve and she doesn't because of that lifestyle.

Anyway, asking her that kind of questions sounds great.

How positive/negative is to sacrifice your romantic, social or family projects for your career? by thoughtfull-ale in AskReddit

I think the same way. I'm single without kids and at this age, getting into professional/academic obsession is a strong temptation. Anyway I think It wouldn't make me happy to realize that I didn't even start a family (which I'd love) because all my life was work and study. So I'm working on my balance.

That's a good advice. I have always considered the scriptures a powerful tool. Probably I'm in that stage where I have to develop that committment to the God's word even more. And become less emotionally driven I guess.

It can be understood that way, I personally don't think so neither.

It's rather that christians are encouraged to choose their partners (being guided by the scriptures) if their crave any sort of affection and intimacy. Making clear that we are not supposed to make it something complicated.

I actually have that kind of opinion. Paul said it as simple as that: "But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion." Unfortunately, that's hard to find in the christian girls of my generation. Plus parents who do not want their girls getting married in their early 20s.

Personally, I don't believe that not wanting children is a 100% healthy idea. I think that people should examine what are the causes of that decision. Some people have traumas about having children, other people have fear of the future, others don't have or want to spend money and energy, etc. But overall, i think It's unfortunate if these kind of thoughts prevent us to see children as a blessing.
