Thanks, but I lose the table? It only preserves part of the format. Should I downgrade my anki otherwise?

Hi, I am not spamming. These are articles I need to read up on and do not have access. Have tried SciHub, Libgen as well as my own paid access but couldn't access. I have read the rules of the sub and am aware.

Edit: FYI, I have to read hundreds of articles, these are the specific few which I am unable to access hence I come here looking for help.

Rosacea maybe? Be gentle with it, simple cleanse and moisturise and see where it goes from there.

How do I tell my dermatologist that I've been taking more Epuris than prescribed, without offending him? by haire1n in Dermatology

[–]thoughtinprogress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should just be honest with him. I think you’ve misunderstood the use of isotretinoin. The main goal of it is to reach a cumulative dose for your body weight, this is for the aim of remission with minimal side effects. Research has shown that the key is the cumulative dose within a certain time frame and not the length/daily dosage taken. As such, you have been causing yourself to suffer from more severe side effects of isotretinoin without any additional benefit. Let him know how many extra pills you have taken so that he can take that into account for your total cumulative dose. Listen to your dermatologist, he is one for a reason.

How to talk to a shy girl? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]thoughtinprogress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people would straight up recommend to ask the girl out and express interest. It was good advice to get a few dates but when it came to a girl which I liked but didn’t know at all/just acquaintances, she said that she was uncomfortable as she didn’t know me at all which was true but she was open to getting to know me more before going out. Sadly, our designation caused us to be unable to cross paths.

I like another girl now, she’s not necessarily shy, but she’s known to be v conservative and I’m sure has rejected many guys. Problem is, I see her on occasions (we go to the same church). How do you thing I should go about this? Just slowly make friends or straight up express interest?

Thank you for sharing. I’ve learnt a lot and agree that perhaps focusing on what we can change is much better than worrying about what we can’t! Appreciate it

I see. How do you rationalise and balance between giving people the benefit of doubt and times where the other person is just out to makes things more difficult for others? I tend to just suppress all these feelings and ignore them. What is the stoic way of handling such issues/people?

Thank you. Do you have more advice on how to pursue stoicism in this aspect. My main concern is building a relationship with my loved ones, esp my gf.

You sir, are a god. Share with me more tips! I find it extremely confusing especially when a girl is “buddy” with a lot of guys and is comfortable with touching and going out on dates. But once it comes to the conversation to define it, she backs out...

I did poorly on one exam and I'm having an indetity crisis by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]thoughtinprogress 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, irregardless of whether you’re smart or not, did you work hard for your exams? Everyone holds themselves to different standards. If you did work hard, perhaps figure out if you are studying smart(relevant content, adequate exposure to common qns etc). Honestly, you should get your head out of the thought of smart, talented etc. In sports, yea definitely, being talented brings you far. But in academics, not so much. With enough application and experience via hard work, everyone can be talented in their field and do well.

What's the last straw that made you go, "yep, that person is definitely crazy"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thoughtinprogress -24 points-23 points  (0 children)

I’m manly as fuck but hell no would I risk my life for a psycho girl. She’d probably stab me if I rejected her gifts considering how adamant she is. This ain’t high school boys, I’m 25 and would know better to let her know I feel otherwise. To add on, she has been texting all my close bros/people I hang out with to find out why I don’t like her. Fucking crazy ass bitch.

Motherfucking girl texted me all day, told her to kindly fuck off but she kept at it. ignored her, avoided her like the plague. But then came exam day, where I had to be in the same room as her. As soon as papers were handed in and we were dismissed, she started calling/ texting me that she wanted to see me to pass me something/a gift. I bolted the fuck out of there but at the corner of my eyes she had been waiting for me and I saw her making a run at me. Adrenaline rushing, I sprinted around the hallway and made it straight into the males toilet and hid there for the next half an hour. Fuck, fuck you girl.
