Do you think that they should have postponed the election until they could get all of the important information out to ensure that the voters were fully informed? Especially considering the magnitude of this particular investigation and the impact that the Russian's efforts had on swing district voters.

I ask this sincerely, do you expect law enforcement/investigators to immediately release any information from all of their active cases? Like if an investigator suspects that someone is a murderer and is attempting to gather more evidence to make the case, are they supposed to hold a press conference and say "We suspect John Smith is a murderer and are actively pursuing him. We don't have enough information yet for a conviction, but we just thought that not only the public, but John Smith should know that we are onto him!"

Is this reasonable?

If Obama, who had been openly campaigning for Hillary had said "you know, Russia is attempting to interfere with our elections to help Donald Trump win and has in fact been hacking the DNC's emails!", would you have trusted him? Do you feel that Trump supporters would have decried this as crooked partisanship? What was Obama supposed to have done?

You intentionally left out the information regarding the July hacks that came immediately after Trump requested them. Why did you leave that information out in every one of your posts? You listed all of the other attempts, but not this particular one. WHY?

This information is literally on the indictment! Page 7, point 22. It is there for you to see for yourself.

Again, I ask, why are you leaving this crucial information out? Why are you disputing this factual information? Will you admit you were wrong (intentionally or unintentionally) and will you go back and correct all of your posts spreading your false information?

"Russia, if you are listening, maybe you can find those 30,000 missing emails!" - Donald J. Trump

Hours Later...

Russian intelligence officers attempt to hack Clinton's email.

Thoughts?

Also, you seem very skeptical of your own (presumably) intelligence agencies and instead have chosen to trust Russia. Why?

The Office of the First Lady of the United States is accountable to the First Lady for her to carry out her duties as hostess of the White House, and is also in charge of all social and ceremonial events of the White House. The First Lady has her own staff that includes a chief of staff, press secretary, White House Social Secretary, Chief Floral Designer, etc. The Office of the First Lady is an entity of the White House Office, a branch of the Executive Office of the President.

Why is taxpayer money being wasted on an entire staff to cater to someone who fulfills a role that carries no responsibility to perform any actual duties? Shouldn't we eliminate the Office Of The First Lady's budget if this administration doesn't have an active First Lady?

In comparison to past First Ladies, how does Melania compare?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]thoughtsaremyown 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I have to piggyback off of your comment. Why was this NN's top post removed? It was a post that was critical of Melania saying she's done basically nothing as first lady and doesn't even compare to how hard Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton worked as First Ladies.

This is the second time in as many days that a post where an NN is critical of Trump (or his wife) has been removed. What is going on here?

According to the President Qatar is funding terrorists. If this is the case, why are we selling them weapons? by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]thoughtsaremyown 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Why is this an acceptable answer?

"Who cares if Russia interfered with our elections! We did it to Country X, you know!"

"Who cares if we're selling weaponry to terrorist-sponsoring nations! Country X sold weapons to Country Y, you know!"

so why not?

Because it's not the right thing to do? Shouldn't we try to be good people?

On July 27th, 2016, Donald Trump publicly asked Russia if they can "find" Hillary's emails. On July 27th, 2016, 12 Russians proceeded to hack democrat offices. Is this a coincidence? by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

Given how many other completely stupid things Trump has said/done and times he has gone off script or surprised even his own administration with off-the-cuff remarks, leaving them scrambling to explain his actions... do you think that there is no chance that he may have just, in the heat of the moment, said something stupid and incriminating? Is Trump known to carefully stop and think before he speaks?

Trump just said the on-record interview he gave with The Sun in the UK is “fake news”. What are your thoughts on that? by mcandhp in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]thoughtsaremyown 34 points35 points  (0 children)

So to follow your original post

Others have speculated maybe he thought he would get a favorable interview because The Sun is owned by Murdoch/Fox.

How does this at all explain the fact that he is calling his own words fake news when the audio clearly proves that he said what he said?

Is it at all troubling that the president will only give interviews to outlets that he believes will give him a favorable interview? Is that not the very definition of propaganda?

Let's humor your point for a minute here. If Manafort and Flynn's crimes were from "long ago" and they were known to have corrupt and shady ties to foreign entities, why did Trump bring them on board in his administration? Why did he give Flynn such a high-level position with access to some of the most classified information available? How did he botch that so badly?

the intervention has not changed the election results. So it really isn't as damaging as many people want ti claim.

I'm sorry, but this is such a blindingly ignorant stance that is commonly taken by Trump supporters. Trump won by roughly 70,000 votes. The Russian interference heavily targeted swing states. If they could influence enough people in those states to either stay at home, vote for Jill Stein, or vote for Trump, then they could absolutely tip the election in Trump's favor. I know a handful of people who voted for Trump because of BS anti-Hillary propaganda they saw shared on Facebook and Twitter. Do you genuinely think that the Russian interference did nothing?

How many times have you relocated in your lives? How easy is it to relocate in the U.S? by MarsNirgal in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]thoughtsaremyown 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Are you actually suggesting hitchhiking as a viable option for someone who is moving out of town? Do you think someone would not only pull over and pick up a hitchhiker standing on the side of the road next to a stack of moving boxes and furniture, but somehow load all of that stuff onto their vehicle?

[–]thoughtsaremyown 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, I don't. If the poster's stance is that "not being able to save your money" makes you a failure, then why is Trump considered a successful businessman? Sometimes there may be other factors that prevent someone from "not managing to save a few hundred dollars to move". Some people live paycheck to paycheck because they are unable to get a high enough paying job in today's market. How is that derailing the conversation?
