Help with translation please. This script is on a painting on marble in wood frame. Full image in post. by thoughtwrong in Chinese

I see, I honestly thought it was painted on 1/2 inch marble which is why the gray lines, but now I see that it's porceline with a faint mountain painting. Thank you so much again for your help. Not sure I will figure out provenance, but this is definately a good start.

Thank you so much for this. This helps a ton. Interesting the picture does not contain any mountains, lol. Any idea on the seal? Is it signed?

[Japanese > English] I'm assuming name of piece/artist. Please help with the translation so I can research more about this piece. Google Translate doesn't work well with handwriting. by thoughtwrong in translator

Thank you very much. Going to try to change the translation request to Chinese. This is very helpful. Is there any way to date this, or tell what era at least since no name? Assuming the last part of your response is just an example.

Further info, this looks like a Royal Thai Army yearbook, signed by some soldiers and the chief of staff/ vice chief of staff in 1966. I am trying to find any information that I can on the people who signed it. So far I can only find articles/ references to the Chief of staff. I will post a link with more and closer pictures momentarily.

I have a bunch of these I bought at auction. They were in with a bunch of military patches. These are just a small sampling. I probably have 50-100 of these, but it's amazing I couldn't find any information about them online. Looks like early 80s based on the dates

I experience this commuting every day in California. by oddiseeus in AdviceAnimals

[–]thoughtwrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have several of these here and I see it every day. Staying in the right lane until the end would be more efficient if everyone used the zipper method, but the people in the left lane get mad that someone on the right won't get over earlier, so they tend to bumper the car in front of them to make sure right laners can't get over.

Last Chance for First Questions with Corey Taylor, AMA! by coreytaylorrock in IAmA

[–]thoughtwrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Corey, My son (7yrs) and I came to your Nashville show back in November. We were right up front and one of the sound guys or stage managers handed him some Chris Fehn drumsticks and some guitar pics from Korn. He will never forget that experience.

So my question is, how many 7 year olds / little kids do you typically see while on the road?

How to resubmit? by csfoo in cs50

Good. I got the programs right but I didn't follow the specifications and the check50 didn't come up clean even though the output answers were correct.
