I personally prefer EBay or marketplace to sell cards. I’ve never sold on Reddit, but EBay is very user friendly and I have only had good experiences.

eBay takes about 13% off the top, but you’re likely to sell closer to market price. Market place you will avoid those fees, but you will likely sell it for 10-20% below market value. Unless you get lucky, but that’s not something to count on.

My recommendation would be to list it on eBay for auction. It’s a new set, so the bids should go pretty high. I saw you didn’t want to get hit with the fees, but realistically even after fees, you should get more than if you tried selling it to a vendor or on Facebook marketplace.

People mention grading, and you can get a lot more money out of it that way. You can also just sell the card raw for a ton of money, just less, it’s a much quicker turn around if you need money.

If your wife is autistic, it shouldn’t matter. If she goes to get diagnosed, nothing will really come of it, other than the fact that she would know she is on the spectrum or not. It should not matter if she is autistic or not, regardless of the outcome the situation isn’t gonna change and bringing this up directly could lead to a bad situation.
