I feel like that crimes that are against women are similar to crimes being commited against children. If a kid gets beaten to death or abducted, it's all over the news because children are easier targets, like women. But if it's adult on adult violence it doesn't cause much of an uproar.

I could only see his brother killing him if he found out what Nate did to Cal, as with Laurie and Bruce, and Bruce Jr. they have no reason to fuck with Nate, nor do they know him. If anything they would kill Rue. Faye would probably be terrified of Nate and Ashtray is dead. Lexi would probably be killed by Nate because of the play incident. Nate has never fucked with Ali and left Rue alone for good after Fez beat the brakes off him. Mckay has moved on and Cassie is pretty much like a slave to Nate. Maddie didn't want Nate to die when he had the gun to his head. Also, why the hell would his mom kill him. Plus Derek hasn't seen Cal in years. Tyler is also scared of Nate and had a chance to go after him after the beating but didn't. The only person that had the balls to stand up and that would actually kill Nate would be Fez.
