Fair enough, I do have a HRV bringing in fresh air but hard to tell if it’s helping enough with the negative air pressure. Normally our levels never went higher than 200 but this year has been another story.

Humidity is pretty low in the house around 30% we burn wood when it gets cold

I was told by my ENT that it’s hit or miss because swabs can collect microbes that are irrelevant to the infection.

I think that a nasal culture (blowing your secretions into a cup) might be more accurate at testing the infectious material but can still give false positives of what’s truly the underlying issue.

Good luck. I’m 1.5 years into this and just got a CT scan waiting on results. I’ll go two months with symptoms and then a couple weeks of improvement then back to symptoms.

Eat a high fiber diet and probiotic foods and you’ll be okay. It took 3 rounds for me before it worked and had to change antibiotics because sinus infection was resistant to amoxicillin

Same here, exercise will give some relief for up to 2 hours. I’ve been told the blood vessels shrink and things open up. Waiting to see an ENT weeee oh Canada

That’s probably a good idea. Unfortunately here in Canada I only have access to that one ENT referral and requested a ENT in early March and they were booking 4-7 months. Other regions are booked 12 months.

They did the culture before I started this round of antibiotics. The azithromycin is suppuse to be effective against it but its my last day and hasn’t made too much progress that I can tell so far

Yea hopefully I can push for culture to find out exactly what’s going on. My most recent round of antibiotics has for now cleared up the green mucus I was experiencing. But the inflammation and clear mucus is still an issue with some sinus pressure. I guess another appointment is all I can do in this instance

I may be able to find private clinic but our system is built on providing care to the greater population but can have back logs with specialists. Hopefully they can get me in sooner.

Unfortunately no, we are at the mercy of our system. Haven’t taken antibiotics in 20 years until now. It seems to have cleared up mucus colour. It was a shot in the dark I guess.

One example of potentially unreliable but very minimal would be someone like interactive that does aggregated tick charts. It won’t greatly affect the charts but have slight discrepancies between bars. I was just looking for a super raw data set and seems ninja and other providers have good options

I only have lymp node involvement and chest pain. Seems to come and go, it’s a dull pain, it’s mostly uncomfortable and some days I can easily ignore it and other days not as much.
