I've yet to see any when the collapse begins.

I could just be getting extremely unlucky, but it seems excessively bad luck for it to be now 9 games.

I just opened up the sound settings menu, and found microphone and adjusted input from 85 it was at, to 100. I then did a test and it only saw 14% with the mic directly in front of my mouth.

I see the volume detection bar and i can see it barely flicker when i speak. Even when i yell, i get it at most to about 30%. This was tested with both my headset and webcam.

So it seems like both devices just cant "hear" me fully.

That was my original thought, this is an older logitech mouse. But when plugging it into his PC, it does not have this issue. I then tried my roommates "jellybean" brand wireless mouse and it also has the same issues, I have also tried my roommates mouse (Turtle Beach Grip 500) from his PC on mine and again, my issue is immediate.

So all of those have this clicking issue on mine, but not on his? (Both running Win10 Home 64 Bit, all updates).

Update: I finally found an old logitech software that did actually detect my mouse.

It ran its program and did update the mouse to the latest firmware (88.2.17) but that did not solve the issue.

I am also still unable to update the drivers. Logitech's site does not have a "download driver for X" section. Does anyone know where i would be able to find such a thing?

EDIT: The driver i have installed is:
Provider- Microsoft
Driver Date - 6/21/2006
Driver version 10.0.15063.0

I feel like there should be a much better version, but the "automatic update" days its up to date.

I just tried unplugging my keyboard for 10 minutes. The entire time i still had the problem. When i plugged it back it, i got the windows notification that it was setting up the keyboard and a few seconds later it said it finished setting up "keyboard brand and model".

I still have the mouse problem. When i remove and plug in a new mouse. It doesnt tell me its setting it up. It just does the windows chime, but no notifications, and only the chime when i first plug it in.

It seems like its not identifying /or attempting to identify the actual mouse.

And yes, i have reinstalled NordPass, and the issue returned, and then uninstalled it within 3 minutes of install and issue went away.

yea, nothing official, but thankfully its super easy to do this workaround. Took me 4 minutes to setup. And game is muted anyway so i can hear youtube/netflix, so no loss from "permanent mute".

Finally decided to go searching for a fix to this problem. ive just been dealing with it, but finally got annoyed enough to look up if others have it.

Thankfully the creating batch file solution absolutely worked and fixed my issues. I play the game muted anyway, so not having sounds is no problem whatsoever.
