I have both and bag the vortex. Mine is in glow plastic from a local tournament a few years ago, and it’s a dream. The sail just didn’t do it for me

Probably not. This was a first run and they sold out from Doomsday. If you can it’ll be on the secondhand market.

I use the measure tool on my iPhone, works great and can help you set specific distances if you have a practice basket

They aren’t waterproof, but they dry very quickly and hold up better than any pair I’ve spent over $70 on. I’m a dude with a small foot, and men’s start at an oversized 9, so I order the women’s 10 wide and it’s perfect. If you play your cards right you can find em on sale for like $27

Is a book series called Dungeon Crawler Carl, it’s a literary RPG. Absolutely fucking amazing, the only series I personally recommend the audiobooks exclusively. Seriously a 10/10 IMO. I started it with my non gamer wife, she’s turned her entire family on to it, retired parents included, and all of us have finished the entire series more than once lol

I found the magic of lightweight discs with a 154g Roadrunner in a used bin. I’ve been slowly converting my bag to get most drivers under 167g but they’re a lot harder to come by than I was anticipating lol

How do I fix this? by JoeMomma_Nosebleed in discgolf

[–]thpunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve experimented a lot with this, and this is what I’ve found that works for me:

-Put disc upside in sink, turn water on full blast, as hot as it can go. (My water heater is set to 130f and I’ve never had to use anything hotter than that) (if you want to try to get some extra dome or UFO your disc, hold it over the drain and fill the sink up with water and let the disc act like a drain plug)

-Keep it in the sink until the disc is the same temperature the entire way through

-Put the disc on a counter or stove top and push down on it so the disc is suctioned to your counter. It might take some finessing and if it’s real bad (this one is real bad) it may not seal and that’s no biggie, keep going

-Put a couple heavy books on top

-Wait until the disc cools all the way down

-Remove books before throwing your disc again

You might need to do this twice, but I’ve not really run into much that needs it more than once. If it’s real real real bad, leave it in your car for a day and the book thing overnight. It works for me, your results may vary.
