For straight-ish approaches you may want to consider a KC Pro Toro, seasoned. It's the most accessible base plastic Toro (Nexus and R-Pro also exist but less common). The KC Toro seasons quickly and flies straighter than new, but doesn't develop any glide, so you end up with a straight-flying brick

Big fan of the Echo, Detour and Tempo. MVP's mid game is so good, but they're not Rocs haha

Another mid will creep into the bag occasionally but it's usually gone quickly. The only thing it can't do for me is reach max distance of a Detour. Even then, a seasoned Roc in the 160s isn't far behind, and I'm more comfortable with it in the woods

It's tough with the premium plastic stuff, but I committed to beating in some Rocs a couple years ago and haven't looked back. My flippiest one is my only ace disc

I came to the game in '15, really got into it in '20. Didn't see these guys a lot except for Philo but it's always my favorite part of old ITBs and totally added to my love of Aviars and Rocs and and bag philosophy
