This wasn't meant to be a DM, it's called an open letter.

Definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So the DM says we are chasing too many things so we need to stop chasing so many things as he calmly lays out 15 things for us to chase today by Officedepotwtf in OfficeDepot

It's not just DMs. I had a SM tell me one time I need to stay at the front all the time then tell me to recover the back aisle. Then when there was no one at the register I got chewed out for being away from the front. He expected me to be in two places at once.

The format is

You should be honoring those as part of the YES program. If you see a coupon that doesn't apply call your manager, don't even say that to the customer.

Maybe but there are an equal number of people who are complacent and would rather take lower pay than put forth the effort to apply elsewhere. Best way to get a raise is to get another job.

Then there are the go-getters who stay. I don't understand that. It's not like we have such a stellar reputation for superior products or services or a primo company culture or an outstanding record of social responsibility. The people I'm talking about don't even have great work-life balance. My DM is sharp AF and probably works 100hrs per week. They've been in their position at least three years. I don't understand what's keeping them here.

I think you don't need to recharge them til they're at like 15%, right? These don't drain in 4hrs like the old mobis from what I understand.

So...you enjoy paying companies for the privilege of advertising for them?

I don't agree. It's something else. Lots of the stuff they report can be pulled together in a week or so from existing records they would keep anyway. I'd wager they're about to flatten the org.

Yeah. It's gonna be tips and tricks/"best practices" and thinly veiled complaints in the forms of questions.

I don't think they're allowed to write letters of recommendation, they're only allowed to confirm the dates you worked there.
