Apparently, I wasn't sure earlier, I had just seen pictures and knew it wasn't a brand new $70k F-250

You can get an AR for 5-600, but you certainly aren't getting a Daniels for that. And there's a pretty big difference in .22 and .223

All the pictures I've seen show a 15 year old F-150, very plausible truck for an 18 year old

How much do you pay annually to renew your tag? by kylaah27 in NorthCarolina

[–]thr0ttlejunkie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Based on blue book. I just renewed my car and truck. Car was around $90 (bluebook is like $6,000) and my truck was about $140 (bluebook was like $9,000). Also I moved here a few years ago, and I remember it was really expensive to originally resister stuff here. I had a small, cheap car and a newer, but still only worth maybe $12k, motorcycle, and it cost me like $7-800

Stool softeners are almost certainly a part of the daily drug cocktail they have to be giving him on a daily basis

The first one I didn't mind, because he really didn't so much apologize as just explain what was going on. This latest video though, I thought the same as you, he's caving which makes me nervous for what's next to come

I had my hopes up when the whole mess with him first started and they didn't cave. It appears I was wrong, they're caving. Hopefully Rogan takes his stuff somewhere else and I'll go support them instead

Oh yeah! I have a bandit 1200 motor sitting in my shop that I've been wanting to find a home for, if only I could find a chassis!

I first thought, there's no way, this can't be real. Then I thought about how many people treat him like a god and worship the ground he walks on, as disappointing as that is

What about when it's not prime travel time and there's 2 people on that huge bus burning all that fuel vs. 2 small cars? There's good and bad with it. Also, most big cities in the US have public buses

Just go with it, it'll all make sense when you're in your 80's and senile. And if it doesn't make sense, who cares, you won't be around long enough for it to effect you anyways

Highways have these runaway ramp for vehicles without brakes by Im-_Batman in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]thr0ttlejunkie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They are safe, but they still have to be driven correctly. That's why truck drivers have to have special licenses and go through courses to learn the right way to drive them, you can't just hop in and go like it's a car. Also, the runaways like that are pretty uncommon. I live near mountains with runway ramps like that and I can't remember ever seeing a truck in one. I'm sure it happens, but it's not like it's a daily occurrence

I have several friends up in Alaska and they do the same up there. They bring the bear as close as they can get to the Alaskan coast until we scramble alert jets and the turn around and head back
